Because at BirdLand Theatre we are placing theatre at the center of the world. We move and change the order of the world. We believe in creative living as the way to make the world we want to see. A world in which everyone can achieve their beautiful potential.
A couple passionate about theatre founded BirdLand Theatre with a mission to open its doors and windows to all creative people who want to dream of a different world.
We produce live theatrical events, but also teach and learn. We collaborate and partner with forward-looking companies to make innovative programs that better the creative aspects of life.
We are in every space that we decide to call our venue. We are always near you, in Toronto, nationally, and internationally. We are on your screen. We are where you would like to find us.
We communicate and connect with creative individuals and organisations. We have partnered with amazing companies to further our mission. We apply digital technology in everything we do.

BirdLand Theatre lives, creates, and plays on land which, for thousands of years, has been the traditional territories of the Mississaugas of the New Credit, the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe, Métis, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Today, this meeting place is home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and play here.
